Airfield Operations Support Team

Are you our next Airfield Operations Support Team? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for our Aerodrome team.

As part of our ‘Grow with Gatwick' initiative you'll be provided with plenty of training and support to ensure you're developing and growing your career.

What is the role?

To proactively support the Airfield team to ensure a safe & compliant airfield.
The AOSTs are involved in completing daily operational tasks in line with the necessary SOP and delivering effective communications with internal & external stakeholders.

 What will you do?

Owning the delivery of airfield cleaning through a variety of vehicles and tools Completing inspections and subsequent reports for all EHS issues. Leading by example to demonstrate EHS as a priority Adhering to necessary plans for refuelling and inspection of the Airfield vehicle fleet Undertaking clean up operations, maintaining the necessary reports and restocking vehicles after the event Operating various Airfield vehicles in line with necessary rules & regulations Supervising 3rd party contractors by delivering a great experience to minimise potential problems

Familiar with the driving and operating of large vehicles Knowledge of airport operational environments Working in restricted / controlled environments Working as part of a team for a common goal Self motivation and resilience Internal and stakeholder communication  Ability to hold Large vehicle licenses Ability to hold a manoeuvring area license
