Job Title: Turn Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Turn Operations Specialist to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of a ground performance delivery plan, maximizing the use of airfield infrastructure to enable growth through the delivery of On Time Performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Gatwick's on Time Performance improvement plan across 3rd party and ground handling teams, enabling Gatwick's growth through airlines ground operational performance.
  • Use of data to drive a continuous improvement program of safety across the underwing operators, driving just culture through all who operate on the apron.
  • Utilisation of Gatwick's stand assets ensuring the delivery of Pier Service Level, meeting Gatwick's Growth plans.
  • Management oversight of all those licensed to operate on Gatwick's Airfield to their respective license conditions.
  • Sponsorship and integration of improvement programs across the ramp environment.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aircraft ground and flight operations, Airport Air Navigation Service provision.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading a large safety and regulatory focused operational setting.
  • Experienced in the management of 3rd party service providers.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills – evidenced in statistical improvement programs.
  • Experience operating in a highly commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Exposure to Crisis management events.
  • Experience in delivering improvements plans across multiple stakeholders.
