About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Operations Manager to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our construction project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects across our airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and issue logs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on mechanical engineering and project delivery.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
