Job Description

We are looking for an experienced live-in carer to join our team in Weston-Super-Mare. This is permanent cover for 2 separate clients (working 1 week at each), with the possibility to take on your own client in the future. The ideal person should have experience of working with:

  • Parkinson's
  • Dementia
  • Stroke
  • Dysphasia
  • Challenging Behaviour

We're looking for someone who is kind, caring, patient, empathetic, a good communicator, ideally with a good sense of humour. As a Live In Carer, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay in their own home. This is a permanent position and will be a working pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Client Details:

Client One – Mr & Mrs X. Both requiring assistance. Live in Weston super Mare. This lovely couple require assistance with all elements. Experience with Parkinson's, dementia and challenging behaviour are essential for this package. The pay rate for this placement is £145 per day (£1,015 per week).

Client Two – Mrs Y. Lives with husband, but it is only Mrs Y who requires care assistance. Mrs Y lives in Yatton. Experience with bed care, stroke and dysphasia are essential for this package. The pay rate for this placement is £120 per day (£840 per week).

You will also receive a £35.00 per week food allowance which is paid monthly.

As a Live In Carer, you will be provided with your own bedroom and access to Wi-Fi.

Qualifications

Full training will be provided, but experience working with the following is essential:

  • Parkinson's
  • Dementia
  • Stroke
  • Dysphasia
  • Challenging Behaviour

Drivers license and own car desirable, though not essential.

You must also have a kind and compassionate nature and flexible approach. 

Smart phone required to use our bespoke app to log daily activities and clock in to work.
