Job summary

The Quality Manager will work with provider partners to develop the collaborative approach to quality assurance across all providers, supporting providers to address quality concerns where appropriate, building on and sharing best practice and supporting the collaborative to be self-assuring and self-regulating as far as post holder will be responsible for leading a 12-month programme of work to support the future commissioning and transformation across the North West (NW) CAMHS Lead Provider Collaboratives. Working alongside the three NW Heads of Quality and with relevant clinical leads, the post holder will undertake case review of a select number of cases from across the North West LPCs, data and intelligence andthematic review to support understanding of the reason for reduced admissions and changing profile of children and young people admitted to specialist CAMHS

Main duties of the job

Lead on the delivery of a programme of work to undertake clinical case review, analysis of data and intelligence, and thematic review working with clinical teams across the North West LPC footprint to support further understanding of the changing profile and trend of CAMHS Promote clinical engagement and involvement in commissioning and Provide support to the GM CAMHs LPC against the requirements of the Quality Maturity Framework by providing a visible and integral role within inpatient Support further development of internal systems and monitoring which ensure that the LPC responds appropriately to, and learns effectively from, a range of information sources including complaints, serious incidents and patients'experience of health care across the commissioned Participate in the day-to-day management of the quality monitoring processes for LPC services within agreed standard operating procedures and provide reports to the relevant Provide quality reports as required using both qualitative and quantitative information drawn from local, regional, and national data sources, identify emerging trends and themes and potential quality Share and embed lessons learnt and develop monthly quality surveillance and commissioning Support provider teams to address quality issues where appropriate.

Job responsibilities

The role will further support in ensuring that the LPC meets is Quality Assurance responsibilities and accountabilities as the Lead Provider and will support the direct oversight and monitoring of the quality and safety of the specialised mental health, learning disability & autism services commissioned through Greater Manchester Child & Adolescent Mental Health LPC including quality assuring all services that are provided within the Greater Manchester footprint. The post-holder will work closely with experts by experience, quality and governance teams and wider stakeholders to develop the quality assurance approach as well as maintaining strong links with the NHSE regional quality tea

Registered with relevant professional organisation, either Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC) Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in mental health and LD. Significant experience of multi agency working and working across boundaries Demonstrable experience of well-developed analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make decisions by determining key points from complex and multiple information strands Must be able to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups
