Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Willow Nursery and Pre-School
Aspire Training Team are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Willow Nursery and Pre-School
Our setting is separated into two buildings, a Nursery & Pre-School. Our Nursery caters for children aged 3 months to 3 years old and our Pre-School caters for children aged 3 years to 4 years 11 months old.
We have a large outdoor play area, which is solely for the use of our Willow children. It is equipped with climbing apparatus, mud kitchen and digging area and a flat surface for the use of bikes, cars and ball games. We also conduct Forest school sessions. We have an holistic approach throughout the early years, which focuses on the child and celebrates their ability and competence.
We believe that children learn by doing rather than being told, and by given appropriate responsibility and allowed to make errors decisions and choices, this informs their learning and allows the staff to plan accordingly.
We truly believe that children succeed in a caring environment where they know they are valued in an atmosphere of mutual respect within which they can have security and confidence.

Your duties as an apprentice will include:
To help the children achieve the five ‘Every Child Matters’ outcomes of staying safe, being healthy. Enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving economic well-being. We do this by implementing the principles for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). To be part of our team is to have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively, show enthusiasm and be able to work on your own initiative, whilst knowing there is always something new to learn.Hours;
Willow Nursery and Pre-School is open from 7:30am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussedQualities Required;
A minimum of a Level 2 qualification, and a good understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is required. However for the right candidates, a willingness to undertake the necessary early year’s qualification would be considered.
You ideally will have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalentBenefits;
