HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our workshop division. The successful candidate will have experience in diagnosing and fault finding on vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair HGVs and trailers to manufacturer and DVSA specifications.
  • Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve workshop objectives and targets.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2.
  • HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial.
  • 3 years previous experience required.
  • Intuitive diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to carry out PMI to DVSA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
