**The role**

A fantastic opportunity for any teaching assistant or learning support assistant looking for a step up within an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated school based near the beautiful rural town of Shepton Mallet. If you have had experience working within a primary school and you are wanting an increase in pay and to progress your career, becoming a HLTA is the perfect opportunity.

The role will entail you to collaborate with class teachers and other learning support staff,

and deliver elements of learning to students on a one to one or small group, under the instruction/guidance of a teacher/line manager to support pupils. You will undertake work/care/support programs to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
