We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate mental health nurse (RMN) to join the Practice Development Team in CPFT's Older Peoples & Adult Community Directorate.

"Practice Development is a continuous process of developing person-centred cultures. It is enabled by facilitators who authentically engage with individuals and teams to blend personal qualities and creative imagination with practice skills and practice wisdom. The learning that occurs brings out transformations of individual and team practices. This is sustained by embedding both processes and outcomes in corporate strategy". (Manley, McCormack & Wilson 2008).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for driving the delivery of excellence in practice, ensuring evidence-based practice, developing standards, development of the registered and support workforce, quality improvement and implementation of the national nursing priorities across our community and in-patient mental health services.

They will act as a role model demonstrating credibility, visibility, celebrating success, encouraging creativity and innovation.
