About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at NHS England and drive the Elective Care Transformation Programme to new heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical expertise and input to the regional MSK clinical improvement programme and delivering a work plan that is developed in collaboration with the programme lead, ensuring alignment with NHS England's national and regional strategic objectives, and MSK priorities.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, clinicians, and stakeholders to drive improvements in MSK services to optimise patient care and reduce waiting times.
  • Developing relationships with MSK/T&O clinical leads at provider level and influencing and providing peer support to local clinicians to deliver improvements across clinical specialty areas.
  • Identifying, co-developing, and providing clinical commentary on data analytic reports to identify opportunities for improvement and drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Engaging in regular reporting and communication with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Committing to hours a week on a set day on a regular basis.
  • Weekly meeting with programme manager to discuss programme progress and updating of workplans.
  • Developing, leading, and delivering communities of practice on key priority improvement areas.
