Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity and new post to work as a band 3 Roster Support Assistant within Highfields Community Rehab Unit for the Intermediate Care Team.

This post would suit a band 2/3 admin assistant or others with experience in Intermediate Care who are looking for a change in role or development.

Previous experience of Rostering is an advantage but full training and support will be provided

Main duties of the job

The Roster Support Assistant will be an invaluable member of CHCP's Intermediate Care Teamand will co-ordinate the matching of appropriately trained and qualified staff to cover vacantshifts within the Community Rehabilitation Units.

The post holder will be expected to provide comprehensive administrative support to ensurethe effective deployment, management and payment of staff in accordance with policies andprocedures.

Qualifications

Essential

Level 3 qualification in Administration or Customer Service or equivalent experience

Desirable

OCR Level 2 in Word Processing or equivalent level of skill

Knowledge

Essential

Knowledge of records management, information governance and data protection Knowledge of a range of software, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, e-roster

Desirable

Understanding of the financial implications of bank and agency staff engagement Knowledge of health care terminology and procedures

Experience

Essential

Experience of working as part of an administrative team

Desirable

Experience of working in a customer service environment Experience of working in the NHS or healthcare service
