Role Overview:

Are you passionate about retail and committed to providing outstanding customer service? As a Sales and Store Assistant at 8Bits, you will engage with customers, drive sales, and help maintain the store’s operations. Your role will be key in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers on the shop floor, providing product information and personalized recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain store presentation by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and setting up promotional displays.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and managing stock rotation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support sales initiatives by actively promoting products and driving in-store promotions.
  • Ensure that the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high standards of operation.

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and manage cash responsibly.
