We are currently seeking a passionate Demi Chef de Partie to help run our kitchen here at House of George.   




This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to be a part of the launch of the House of George Hotel, nestled in the beautiful town of Broadway in the Cotswolds.




This role will allow you to work in a 28-cover restaurant. We’re looking for someone to be a part of, and work closely with the management team to create a unique dining experience using the best produce in the British Isles.




As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be passionate, experienced, adaptive and creative. We want someone who can work well in a team. As a Team leader. And as a Mentor. 


Applicants must be of modern stature, meaning you are keen to make sure the entire team is looked after from a well-being and educational point of view.


We want someone who can help build a solid team and work closely with the Head Chef and Sous chef to push the hotel forward at all times, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge with passion. 




What we expect:



  • To prepare food from seasonally changing menus.
  • Preparation, production, and service of food to the standard required in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Practice and promote effective teamwork and communication amongst your direct work colleagues and colleagues in other departments
  • Ensure compliance with in-house HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems to ensure compliance.
  • Completing duties with an attitude of always striving to exceed standards to promote improvements and raise the quality of feedback from all guests.
  • To maintain the day-to-day operational standards of the kitchen
  • To manage own kitchen section during service
  • To take responsibility for covering all areas of kitchen operations.
  • To prepare reports including recording food temperatures
