You will be based at Maidstone CMHT but may be expected to travel to our other site at Tunbridge Wells

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Main duties of the job

A Community Mental Health Nurse is a key staff member within the multidisciplinary care team and will have continuing responsibility to assess, plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate care, communicate findings,influence and drive change and promote health and best practice, patient safety and experience. The Mental Health Nurse will be professionally accountable to the Executive Director of Nursing, and operationallyaccountable to the Matron / Clinical Service Manager.

Effective communication skills and self-governance are required. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of high level interventions & community assessment skills. Existing qualifications or a willingness to undertake training relevant to the post is expected.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes
