About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Crisis Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to individuals experiencing mental health crises, helping them navigate challenging situations and access necessary resources. Your compassion, strong communication skills, and understanding of mental health challenges will be instrumental in making a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health distress.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized support plans.
- Connect individuals with appropriate resources, including mental health services, community organizations, and emergency assistance.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, social workers, and medical personnel, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and interventions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
