Finance Business Partner – Logistics
Circa £65,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)
12-month secondment/fixed-term contract (parental cover)
United Kingdom (hybrid working)
Please note: In this role you’ll spend approximately one day per week travelling to our depots across the UK
We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the commercial business partnering activity for our Logistics depots. You’ll work closely with our logistics leadership team to provide financial insights that support their decision-making.
We’ll look to you to build a clear understanding of our logistics teams and their needs, as well as identifying and exploring continuous improvement opportunities.
What you’ll do
Partner with our logistics operational teams, central teams, and depots to set finance targets for their areas and identify potential improvement opportunities Develop financial plans, ensuring robust financial control Share clear and effective financial insights with senior leaders to help inform their decision-making Provide ad-hoc financial analysis support Work on cross-finance projects to deliver improvements to control, reporting, and insightsThis role would suit people who have
A finance qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc) or relevant experience Experience supporting business transformations within a complex environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and accessible way Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusivelyWhy Co-op?
