Accounts Payable Analyst

The accounts payable analyst will primarily be responsible for processing supplier payments, staff expenses and company credit cards. The individual will also assist in generating KPI reports on daily, monthly, and ad hoc basis.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and payments on the Accounts Payable system.
  • Manage supplier relationships across the group.
  • Generate daily profit and loss reports for circulation to senior management team.
  • Maintain payables ledger for all the LMAX entities.
  • Create fixed assets in the finance system, and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Process staff expenses and corporate credit card claims using Concur Expense Management system.
  • Perform call back to confirm suppliers’ bank details.
  • Create and keep track of the master supplier list.
  • Reconcile suppliers’ bank account details between Sun and treasury system.
  • Clearing out supplier balances on the ledger.
  • Process ad hoc month end bank journals into the finance system.
  • Support team during the annual financial audit.
  • The individual will also be tasked with assisting other members of the Finance team in ensuring sound control over the financial data across the group where deemed necessary.
  • Ensure that any supplier payments queries are followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with various budget holders across the Group to query out of budget spend and seek relevant approval.
  • Work closely with other members of the team to assist on any ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

Essential Skills / Experience:

•Organised, diligent and methodical with a pro-active, can-do attitude

•Fast learner with an ability to grasp concepts and resolve any issues identified

•Intermediate to Advanced computer skills - fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivots)

•Confident and proactive in communication with people at all levels and a good team player

•Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

•Can handle large volume of work and remain calm and productive in a challenging situation

Desirable Skills / Experience:

•Prior experience of working at a FX Brokerage or Exchange

•Experience of working with SunSystems and Concur

•Studying towards or completed an AAT
