Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Mile End. CBW are currently recruiting for an Muliskilled Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary up to £49,8000 based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of shift allowance.

He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following;

Key duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • Escort / organise sub contractors
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Ensure site log books are kept up to date
Hours of work

  • 4 of 4 off (2 earlies, 2 lates, 4 off, repeat)
  • 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00am - 07:00am
Package

  • Up to £49,8000

Requirements

  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3
  • City & Guilds - 18th Edition if electrically qualified
  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
