Main duties of the job

To always maintain confidentiality of informationregarding children/ families. Promote and maintain good and effective communication withpatients, relatives, and visitors. Persuade patients and families to co-operate withtreatment for their well-being, effectively deal with anxious relatives. Ensureparents/carers and the child (when appropriate), can agree and/or negotiatecare.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Job Title: Registered Nurse- Paediatric A&E Nurse

Trust Location: Lister , East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust

Hours: Flexible

Pay rates: £17 - £28 per hour.

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices. A Paediatric Nursing Degree

Experience

Essential

A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E Nurse environment within the last 3 years. In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of Statement of NMC Registration Degree /Diploma in Nursing
