WHAT TO EXPECT

JLR Is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Program Manager to join the dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for design and a proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. This role will be critical in ensuring that JLR’s Creative initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with business goals.

The Design Programme Manager is the 'creative enabler’ for their portfolio (Brand and/or nameplate) responsibilities. Driving the Design Vision to be established and enabling that Vision to be delivered with efficiency & clarity, all within an Agile way of working.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all non-Creative activities to drive successful delivery of your Brand/Portfolio responsibilities. This includes Core, SV, Accessories and Bespoke.

Work closely with the wider V-Org, Product Engineering, Commercial and other Enterprise teams, to drive the relevant alignment and collaboration of programme content, timing and gateways deliverables.

Drive and enable all Creative functions to successfully deliver the Design vision and manage alignment with external stakeholders for your portfolio of programmes.

Effectively manage / communicate risks across all programmes within the portfolio to mitigate downstream impact.

Effectively manage a team of Project Leads to support you in successfully delivering all cycle plan programmes in your portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Extensive experience of planning, monitoring and delivering a portfolio of programmes and projects.

Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence others at all levels.

Ability to identify and manage risks and develop contingency plans, successfully engaging a cross functional team to align to these plans.

Technical awareness to enable prioritisation of key issues.

Ability to interface with key stake holders at all levels (Internal Squad through to senior leaders / Enterprise and Board members).
