I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Durability & Robustness Programme Leader to join their team on a Contract basis.
Job Description
As Durability & Robustness Programme Leader your main responsibilities are:
This role will aim to enhance the customer experience through the design, development, measurement and balance of customer attributes for the Clients' vehicles
The D&R Programme leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for vehicle Durability and Robustness of the Clients' vehicles are met or exceeded.
Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved Detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests and driven vehicle DV activities.
Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets.
This is achieved through attribute target setting & verification using both virtual and physical test methods. Qualifications / Skills needed
Automotive experience of engineering test activities
Automotive technologies or systems.
Understanding of Durability Strength principles Project management of complex engineering test Activities
Project Management experience.
Understanding of Systems engineering.
Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.
