Locum Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedics

Applications are invited for a locum Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon post at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This post is to cover a substantive knee subspecialty gap and therefore interest in lower limb surgery would be beneficial for the service.

We are looking for a locum consultant to be part of a team of seventeen consultants working across the North Sector of Glasgow. The successful applicant will be based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, but will also operate at our ambulatory care site, Stobhill.

The current on-call trauma commitment is a 1:13 rota. The successful candidate will also deliver regular elective theatre lists, subspecialty theatre lists, fracture clinic and elective clinics.
