Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Trauma Liaison Nurse Specialist to join our team in promoting and delivering excellent care to children with orthopaedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of emergency care and treatment to patients admitted to the orthopaedic department.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation of patients for emergency/trauma surgery.
  • Attend and coordinate care in the fracture clinic.

Requirements:

This role requires a Band 6 nurse with the ability to work autonomously and within the Paediatric Orthopaedic Multidisciplinary Team.
