NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Orthopaedic Trauma Liaison Nurse Specialist in our Paediatric Orthopaedic department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of emergency care and treatment to patients admitted to the orthopaedic department.
- Be actively involved in the preparation of patients for emergency/trauma surgery.
- Attend and coordinate care in the fracture clinic.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopaedic trauma care.
