Reporting to the President of EMEA, the role will:
1. HNW Client Development and Prospection:
Build and implement effective strategy to prospect HNWI and UHNWI. Actively participate in the HNWI social calendar and penetrate the networks of the ultra-rich to recruit new HJ clients Identify VIP customers of other jewelry brands, create strategies to outreach to such individuals and execute outreach. Introduce his/ her client portfolio to the brand. Provide weekly/monthly report on outreach contacts made to date.2. High Jewelry (HJ) business development strategy:
Define and implement the HJ Business Development strategy including:HJ event calendar in coordination with the marketing team,HJ stock allocation and calendar in coordination with the merchandising team, Provide feedback on HJ collections, market specific HJ trends, HJ requests from clients, diamond sourcing needs, to the global HJ special order team and HJ product team. Assist stores follow up HJ requests and on-going discussions / negotiations on high value sales to maximize success rate. Act as go-to for best price requests from stores. Follow up and advise on HJ price negotiations. Monitor and manage the successful achievement of each store HJ target.3. VIP Customer Relationship Management :
Analyze stores VIP client portfolio. Work closely with the store directors, including regular touch bases with each, to strategize VIP client entertainment. Support the Brand Ambassadors execute high potential and VIP client discovery and build strong relationships with them to develop HJ sales. Elevate the HJ selling capabilities of the store teams. Act as a global ambassador and hence support the global Client team in HQ on best practice development and sharing across markets. For this specific workstream the HJ and VIP Client development manager will work closely with the Global Sales VP and his Client team. Qualifications: Strong experience in the luxury jewelry industry. Possess deep understanding and knowledge of brand and full range of all products, stones, High Jewellery, history and services to convey brand heritage and values. Possess a full understanding of the relevant marketplace and HNWI profile and habits. Commercial / hunting instinct, socialite, muti-cultural background. Creative in finding new ways of outreaching to HNWI and bonding with VIP and High Potential clients. Strong client portfolio of clients outside of DeBeers. Experienced in HJ sales and strong negotiation skills. Strong negotiation skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong coaching skills with an ability to develop others. Highly customer-centric individual that is passionate about creating the best-in-class customer experience. At least three spoken languages in proficient fluency (four would be ideal). Self-motivated, autonomous, energetic, proactive and result oriented. Able to multi-task and comfortable to work in an agile environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and working knowledge of Salesforce is an added advantage-
