Sales Operations Analyst

The Role
 

This role requires a talented and collaborative individual, who is detailed and process-oriented, able to demonstrate initiative to carry out day to day sales operation duties. The effectiveness of driven individuals are put to the test daily. The role holder acts as a key support and business partner to the Sales Team in EMEA and reports directly to the Sales Operations Manager of EMEA & APAC. You can expect a great level of collaboration and appreciation from your peers in the accomplishment of your objectives.


Responsibilities
 

Act as a liaison between Sales and the other departments (Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain) to ensure quotes are accurately done and sales orders received are in compliant with A10 policies and processed in an accurate and timely manner.Responsible for reviewing and approving pricing and deal structure, ensuring compliance with price structure, profitability, and solution components. Assist sales to ease the deal approval process at every stage of the sales cycleAchieves a high degree of familiarity with an in-depth knowledge of field/headquarter sales policies and proceduresAct as key support and business partner to assigned sales teamsMonitors and ensures opportunity and quote data hygieneReview paperwork against checklists for order processingWork closely with internal logistics team to ensure backlogs are shipped as scheduledHeavily involved in month-end and quarter-end closing. Ensure orders are processed on time to meet the monthly targetWork closely with sales team to ensure pipelines cleanlinessWork closely with field sales & engineers to ensure Demo assets are tracked closelyEnsure field sales team are trained and knowledgeable on all processes and proceduresEnsure external business partners are trained on our order and shipment procedure and requirementParticipate in cross-functional teams activities that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operationsAssist Regional leaders in weekly meetings, monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverablesAttend meetings (QBRs) to gain a better and broader understanding of the region business objectivesAny other administrative duties that might be assigned to you

Desired Skills/ Experience

Minimum 5 years of sales operations and analysis experienceExperience supporting in EMEA countries a definite plusExperience in Deal Desk duties a definite plusDeep understanding of sales process and supporting business functionsStrong verbal and communication skillsSelf-driven, dependable, excellent problem-solving skill, detail-oriented and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing prioritiesAble to establish own priorities, initiatives, and drive to closureProven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams and external business partnersAbility to work under pressure and good with time managementMust be able to work independently and a Team player at the same timeExperience with Salesforce.com, Clari and Oracle as business tools a definite plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
