FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Hourly/Part-time

Summary:

Ensures ParishSOFT Donor Management System is maintained certifying all entries are posted accurately and in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities:

Records contributions and pledges accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains church database detailing full record of donor (parishioner) transactions in ParishSOFT Donor Management System. Establish information tracking necessary to maintain accurate contribution records. Updates donor management records in system as necessary. Provides donor management tax statements to parishioners as requested and prepares end of year statement for parishioners. Point of contact for online giving platform, including functions and ongoing fund management. Prepare reports in various formats for analysis by management. Update current parishioner information while creating profiles for new parishioners in ParishSOFt Family Suite. Assigns envelopes to be mailed to them through Our Sunday Visitor (OSV). Creates a document of new parishioners' information to provide the "Welcoming Committee" for their use on the upcoming "Welcoming Mass" weekend. Assists on all special projects as assigned by the Pastor. Provides listing of active parishioners for the Parish Guidebook and Dictionary. All other duties as assigned. Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, and/or Abilities

Must have strong written and oral communications skills. Must be proficient with computers (i. e. Internet, Microsoft software knowledge). Must be able to meet deadlines. Must be able to maintain confidentially. Must have ability to perform outlined tasks. Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team. Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills. Able to maintain confidentiality of information regarding church parishioner information, financial information, and other information. Able to work well with others in a church community Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Education, Training, and/or Experience

High School Diploma Financial experience in generating spreadsheets and reports Knowledge and skills with computers and systems Bilingual (English and Spanish)
