About the role

Lansdown Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an experienced Receptionist & Business Support Administrator to join our Cheltenham office.

This hybrid role will involve a variety of both front and back office duties, helping to deliver exceptional client service, supporting Lansdown's “right first time” approach, whilst also being the first point of contact for our clients and guests.

Key responsibilities
  • Answering incoming calls & transferring to the appropriate staff member.
  • Meet and greet clients and guests.
  • Checking supplies and ordering stationery
  • Building maintenance: Arranging for contractors to quote for any work that needs to be done, and when appropriate arrange a time and date for work to be completed. Arrange routine servicing of boiler, air con, fire alarm, burglar alarm etc.
  • Admin support including sending Policy Documents to clients and issuing Receipts.
  • Processing payments
  • Settling Accounts
  • Chasing clients for renewals and outstanding monies
  • Issuing documents
  • Chasing insurer for claim update and settlements
  • Loading data onto operating system
  • General admin duties, post, filing etc.
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Excellent, professional and confident communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Manage workload
  • Ability to construct effective written communications
  • Work well within a team especially under pressure
  • Confident numeracy skills
  • Training in the role will be provided
  • Competent on MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outloo
  • Accurate data input skills
