About the team
Our Business Services team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Forvis Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.
About the role
- You will support the review and delivery of HR policies, practices and procedures to support a high-performance culture which ensures there is fairness and inclusivity whilst emphasising high engagement and productivity to support the achievement of the firm's business and people goals.
- Monitor the return of investment from the implementation of revised and new policies and procedures, providing updates on the benefits/cost saving to the Head of HR Advisory and the HR Director.
- Work with the Head of HR Advisory and the P&C Leadership team to ensure all UK people policies and procedures are up-to-date, reflect the latest developments in effective people management and are in line with business needs, best practice and current and proposed employment legislation.
- Take an evidence-based approach to the development of policies, reflective of best practice, academic research, organisational data and internal stakeholder concerns
- Suggest the introduction of new / updated policies as appropriate
- Work with the HR Shared Services team to ensure their internal processes are reviewed, updated or created to reflect the creation of new policies or where polices are updated..
- Working with the Employee Relations Manager, monitor the changes in employment legislation and update associated policy and procedures accordingly.
- Working with P&C teams to manage DSAR requests received from the Privacy team, coordinating the gathering of information in line with set timescales.
- Managing the HR Advisor team (2 team members), in providing generalist HR advice regarding the implementation of the firm's people policies.
What are we looking for?
- A strong understanding of HR employment law and operations
- Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) and team member experience.
- Excel and data analytics experience and the ability to generate insight through Applicant Tracking Systems and reporting tools.
- Strong communicator and influencer who takes the time to truly understand key stakeholders and the needs of their team and clients.
- Proven project management experience, working with multiple stakeholders to drive change and implement process improvements.
