Senior Sales Development Representative

The RoleIn this role you’ll be the special sauce of our sales function – highly motivated and tenaciously driven, to the point of OBSESSION, to change the world with science and technology apprenticeships.
You'll be a PLAYER-COACH within our Sales Development team - rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in yourself as well as coaching and mentoring others. You’ll be approachable, take onboard ideas and genuinely care about others. Not shying away from difficult conversations, you’ll support the development of others through active listening, open questions, and honest feedback, that enables people to thrive and grow.
You’ll work to solve the growing skills gap within the sector by creating more opportunities for ambitious businesses to bring hungry talent into their workforce.
You’ll play a pivotal role in our growth strategy – identifying, contacting, qualifying and NURTURING new potential customers, EXPANDING market presence and EXCEEDING sales targets. You’ll be PROACTIVE and CREATIVE in how you seek to engage hungry science and technology businesses. With a HUNGER TO LEARN and an AMBITIOUS DRIVE to reach the top of your game, you’ll enthusiastically embark on the Sales Executive Apprenticeship yourself, with a view to learn and progress to become one of our Client Relationship Managers.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who’s got experience of working within an SDR role. You'll be a CUSTOMER-CENTRIC THINKER – with experience of interacting with customers and providing an experience that WOWs, you’ll LOVE interacting with people, with a knack for quickly establishing rapport with your friendly and personable nature. EXTROVERT or INTROVERT (or mix of the two) – we don’t mind - either way you’ll be driven to not take NO for an answer.
Your specialty will be RESILIENCE – remaining steadfast in the face of adversity, persevering and finding ways around the seemingly impossible As a TECH-SAVVY person, who loves to follow a PROCESS, you’ll work to high standards, providing quality services to your team and our customers. You’ll be HAPPIEST when collaborating with others, working as part of the wider SDR and CRM team.

At Tiro, we make great things happen for people. And that starts with you. You’ll receive:
- Starting salary of £32,000 with progression to £37,000 per annum
- Generous uncapped commission circa. £15,000 per annum
- Full training and clear development path – Sales Executive Apprenticeship with a fast-track progression route to Client Relationship Manager earning £60,000 (OTE – On Target Earnings)
- Office Based - Langley/Slough – Ditton Park with onsite 24/7 Gym, tennis courts, running routes, restaurant and coffee shop
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hours of work – you can choose your own hours, providing you’re around when stakeholders need you, you’re smashing your targets and clock up 37.5 hours per week
