Validating Ophthalmology waiting lists.  Provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy. Ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times. Undertake general clerical duties to maximise all available outpatient capacity in an appropriate way. Ensure all information is secure and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times. Flexibility to provide cover and support across the services.

We have two vacancies to join our busy team as an Appointment Slot Administrators. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing service in Ophthalmology.

You will form an essential part of the team, ensuring patient appointments are booked accurately and information is updated regularly, planning and setting up outpatient clinics and providing administrative support.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, to which this post will provide a wealth of opportunities to expand and develop.

Both vacancies will cross cover our main site and our sister hospital at Heavitree.

We actively encourage informal chats or departmental visits.

Working Pattern: hours per week, Monday - Friday :-: or :-:
