Your new role

As a Service Delivery Executive within our Digital Services directorate, you'll support in the daily management of the service and supply chain, managing specific pieces of work to meet objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed. 

With strong communication skills you will engage with stakeholders, both internal and external to support the effective delivery of services ensuring that they are delivered correctly and meet standards of quality in line with the business needs. Proactively seek out and contribute to service improvement ensuring that the service remains aligned to current business needs and is ready for future requirements. 

What you’ll be leading on

Ensuring that Service Delivery meets its objectives regarding managing the performance of the Supplier.  Liaise with colleagues and customers, building effective relationships to develop efficiency and contribute to the continuous improvement of services. Ensure expected service delivery benefits continue to be achieved.  Assessment and communication of service delivery performance and successes to the business.  Engagement with stakeholders and the Lead Service Delivery Manager to ensure that new and enhanced products and services have the right service support arrangements in place to ensure benefits are realised and add value to the business. Contribution to investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing processes, driving the collection of information and creation of recommendations for improvements.  Takes responsibility for issues that occur and is proactive in searching for potential problems. Achieves excellent user outcomes. Supporting the application and definition of strategies and policies.

To be successful

The ability to deliver an efficient customer service, or support delivery of projects though a project office function Delivery within a complex supply chain environment.  Successfully managing contentious issues/dispute resolution.  Engaged constructively with suppliers, including them in meetings when appropriate.  Managed workflows by adapting systems and working methods to improve performance.  Presented information in a way that influences others to accept the key conclusions.  Identifies the potential longer-term impact of present-day activities on the future.  Confidently challenges current ways of working and offers constructive suggestions for improvement.
