You support sourcing for spend categories-including sourcing execution and stakeholder management to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.

How you will contribute

You will take the lead in creating value through innovation, sustainability, risk management, quality, service, cash/spend and productivity programs all while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes. In addition, you will lead in the development and deployment analytics approaches , supporting formation of strategies and decision making for EM leadership team, while also cascading vision and information to the wider ExM team in support of daily operations.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mondelez International’s competitive advantage, focusing on constructing/delivering value generating programs with the business and our suppliers. This will include synthesizing best practices, market insights, data insights, colleagues’ feedback, leadership team steer, opportunity mining and risk evaluation, to generate and popularise clear vision for various programs, opportunities and objectives. You will bring and drive solutions/innovation, by defining and delivering ambitious plans that encourage teams and stakeholders to engage not just in the destination, but also in the journey.

More about this role

Supply management is a function within the organization aspiring to demonstrate competitive advantage through wining Supplier Partnership and Effective Management of all Company spend.

Our External Manufacturing (ExM) Supply Management team in Mondelez Europe is responsible for managing spend of ~$500MM sourced from external manufacturing partners in compliance with Mondelez International food safety, quality, and service level expectations.

This team sources a portfolio of branded finished products that contribute ~$1.2B revenue and are responsible for creating external supply solutions supporting business growth of existing and new technologies / capabilities.

This role, The Advanced Sourcing Analyst ExM MEU, will be responsible for ensuring consistency in our ExM strategic approach, supporting building ExM strategies regionally, leveraging & deploying best practices of our Internal & External manufacturing networks, driving consistency in execution, stakeholder management and supplier management. This role will work in close collaboration with MEU ExM team leads.

What you need to know about this position:

This role will support building the External Manufacturing strategy for MEU via the provision of deep accurate and dependable analytics . It will support defining “Gold Standards” for operational performance and commercial terms, create measures and scorecards to assess performance vs expectations. Support creation of Supplier Performance Excellence (SPE) programs of External manufacturers as well as holding and overview of all EM KPIs and illustrating hotspots as well as improvement opportunities.
