The Clinical Lead will be pivotal in leading and managing priority areas such as:

Communication / Relationship skills
to provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to all clinical staff across the service, including support around disagreements in clinical practice to ensure robust clinical supervision arrangements are in place for all clinical staff across the service to attend Clinical Governance meetings and provide regular updates and assurance in relation to governance of the service to lead on ensuring a clear focus on patient involvement and patient experience across the service, demonstrating both engagement and improvement to lead on the development of quality improvement plans for the service. Ensure that a strategy is in place to monitor clinical outcomes and reflect on this information to drive service improvement To ensure that untoward incidents are managed using the Risk Register system, and these are escalated as required to commissioning, safeguarding, regulatory and NHS contractual bodies.
