Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Heatherwood Court. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items in accordance with all Food Handling and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Clean and store equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen in accordance with the Units' schedules and specifications.
  • Ensure documentation duties and procedures are maintained for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy, and consideration to all clients, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Ensure segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner.

Requirements

  • Experience working within a kitchen environment.

Working Hours

You will be working 5 days out of 7, doing 7.5 hours each day between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Sunday.
