About the Role

We are seeking a caring and professional Personal Assistant to support a lady in her early 90's living in Penarth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with daily tasks, maintaining a clean home, and assisting with personal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep cleaning the bathroom and kitchen once a week
  • Maintaining a clean home, including dusting, laundry, and vacuuming
  • Assisting with food preparation and cooking
  • Providing support with personal care, including dressing and grooming
  • Prompting medication reminders
  • Providing social support, including shopping trips and transportation to local day centres

Requirements

  • A gentle and caring approach
  • Flexibility with days and times
  • Professional attitude and presentation
  • Initiative and observance of the level of support required
  • A high standard of work ethic
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries

Working Hours

12 hours per week, made up of 4 x 3 hour blocks, weekdays and weekends, with flexibility to suit.

Rates of Pay

£12.00 per hour, with mileage to be discussed in interview.
