Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a  Final Inspection Team Leader to join our team based in Staverton to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

What will you be doing?

As a Final Inspection Team Leader , you will lead a team of Inspectors responsible for providing quality products and services to Ontic’s customers. You will be responsible for developing a team capable of achieving a level of throughput and quality that meets the organizations requirements. You will help to develop, refine, and execute inspection processes and functions as well as supervise all functions of the Final Release Cell making priority decisions to support the businesses throughput.

What skills or experience do you need?

You'll be a natural leader with experience in a similar role already or looking for your first step in to a team leader role. You'll need a minimum of two years experience working within Aerospace and a minimum of 6 months experience of overseeing the release of Aerospace products. You'll ideally have knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical and gaseous products as well as respective industry standards i.e. AS9100, BS EN ISO9001:2008 and EASA Part 21 release. You will be able to raise MRRs (material reject reports) and have a knowledge of non-conformity reports. Communication with stakeholders at all levels will be essential for this role.
