About the Role

We are seeking a skilled First Article Inspection Specialist to join our team at Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for the aerospace industry.

As a First Article Inspection Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and performing First Article Inspection activities in support of Manufacturing
  • Reviewing manufacturing schedules to plan and prioritize First Article Inspection activities
  • Analyzing manufacturing data packs to understand associated processes and apply them to First Article Inspection activities
  • Creating and delivering First Article Inspection reports by witnessing operations and processes in manufacturing
  • Compiling FAI metrics to inform manufacturing management for use in management reviews

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering First Article Inspection in line with customer requirements and AS9102 standards. You will have a minimum of a time-served apprenticeship and relevant experience in FAI. You will be able to understand internal and external customer requirements, as well as regulatory and certification requirements.
