About the Role

We are seeking a skilled First Article Inspection Specialist to join our team at Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for the aerospace industry.

As a First Article Inspection Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and performing First Article Inspection activities in support of Manufacturing. You will review our current manufacturing schedules to plan and prioritize First Article Inspection activities, analyze manufacturing data packs to understand associated processes, and create and deliver First Article Inspection reports.

You will also compile FAI metrics to inform manufacturing management for use in management reviews. We are looking for someone with proven experience in delivering First Article Inspection in line with customer requirements and in accordance with AS9102.

About You

You will have a minimum of a time-served apprenticeship in addition to relevant experience in FAI. You will be able to understand internal and external customer requirements, as well as regulatory and certification requirements. We are looking for someone with the capability to identify business improvements and the passion to ensure they are effectively implemented.
