About the Role

We are seeking a skilled First Article Inspection Technician to join our team at Ontic. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for preparing and performing First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in support of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review manufacturing schedules to plan and prioritize FAI activities
  • Analyze manufacturing data packs to understand associated processes and apply to FAI activities in support of validation plans
  • Create and deliver FAI reports by witnessing operations and processes in manufacturing and populating data in relevant company systems
  • Compile FAI metrics to inform manufacturing management for use in management reviews
About You

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in delivering FAI in line with customer requirements and in accordance with AS9102. You will ideally possess a minimum of a time-served apprenticeship in addition to relevant experience in FAI. You will be able to understand internal and external customer requirements, as well as regulatory and certification requirements.
