Position Context:

The position supports the HR Team in providing a comprehensive, accurate and confidential HR service for the Middlesbrough and Billingham sites. The HR Support Apprentice will work in a team that includes a HR Manager, L&D/HR Specialist and a Payroll/HR Advisor.

Main tasks :

Training bookings / Monitoring Training Inbox Learning Management System Administration Management of electronic personnel and training records Interview Administration - scheduling/invites/note taking Administration of on/off-boarding in HRIS Better Health at Work support New vendor creation in ERP Issuing New Starter / Leaver Checklists / Welcome Packs Manage organisation donation programme Administration of employee routine checks Assistance with administration of employee medical arrangements Assist with payroll administration Provide administrative support to the HR team and the wider business

Ongoing development programme to learn and support HR team in all aspects of HR including employee relations, payroll, organisation development, L&D, Employee engagement, resource/talent planning and performance/reward.

Apprenticeship will include studying towards a CIPD Level 3 course, which is a great starting point for an entry into a career in HR.

Required skills :

Confident communication skills Excellent organisational and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy Good listening skills Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision Excellent I.T. skills Eligible to work in the UK Team player with the ability to build effective relationships Minimum of 5 GCSE's A*-C/9-4
