Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide individual and group support, assist students with special educational needs, monitor and report on progress, and offer constructive feedback.
- Classroom Assistance: Help deliver engaging lessons, prepare teaching materials, manage classroom behaviour, and supervise students during lessons and activities.
- Administrative Support: Prepare classroom displays, undertake administrative tasks, and assist in organising school events and trips.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with teachers, support staff, and external professionals, communicate with students and parents, and participate in staff meetings and training.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in a Primary school
- Strong understanding of the curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach
- Strong organisational skills
