Prospero Teaching is working with an outstanding Primary School in Durham to find a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic individual who can provide 1:1 support to pupils in their lessons, helping them to engage with their learning and achieve their full potential.
The role will involve working closely with the Class Teachers to develop and implement strategies to support the individual needs of the pupils, as well as supervising pupils during break times and lunchtimes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and is looking for a rewarding and challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN in their lessons
- Work closely with Class Teachers to develop and implement strategies to support individual needs
- Supervise pupils during break times and lunchtimes
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with pupils with SEN
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
