AK Teaching are seeking a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to join a partner school in the Durham area. This will be a specialist Special Educational Needs school specialising in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health conditions.

The role will include supporting students and staff during lessons and whilst travelling around the school premises. This is a rewarding but challenging job, with many of the children displaying challenging behaviours due to their extra learning needs or trauma. To be suitable for this position you will be a caring, companionate and patient person.

**Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant/Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification is essential**

**Right to work in the UK**

**Fully enhanced DBS on the update service**

**Experience delivering educational programmes to young people with additional needs**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £80.00-£90.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
