Job Title: HVACEngineer Site Based Facility ManagementContract

PositionOverview: We are seeking a highly skilled andqualified HVAC Engineer to oversee all mechanical works as part ofa sitebased facility management contract. This role requirestechnical expertise and the ability to ensure the efficientoperation of mechanical systems within the facility. A full cleandrivers license is required as an electric van will be provided fortransportation.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. MechanicalMaintenance Supervision:
    • Take thelead on all mechanical maintenance activities including HVACsystems plumbing ventilation and other mechanicalequipment.
    • Develop and implement preventativemaintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and reliabilityof mechanical systems.
    • Conduct regularinspections and assessments of mechanical equipment to identifyissues diagnose problems and recommendsolutions.
    • Coordinate with maintenancetechnicians and external contractors to prioritize tasks and ensuretimely completion of repairs and maintenanceactivities.
  2. TechnicalExpertise:
    • Provide technicalguidance and support to the maintenance team on troubleshootingcomplex mechanical issues and resolving technicalchallenges.
    • Stay abreast of industry bestpractices regulations and technological advancements in mechanicalengineering to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness ofmaintenance operations.
    • Review and approvetechnical specifications drawings and proposals for mechanicalinstallations andupgrades.
  3. Healthand Safety Compliance:
    • Ensurecompliance with health and safety regulations and standards in allmechanical maintenance activities.
    • Conduct riskassessments and implement appropriate safety measures to mitigatepotential hazards associated with mechanical systems andequipment.
    • Promote a culture of safetyawareness and adherence to safety protocols among maintenance staffandcontractors.
  4. Documentationand Reporting:
    • Maintain accuraterecords of maintenance activities equipment inventory andperformance metrics.
    • Prepare detailed reportson maintenance activities including work completed issuesencountered and recommendations forimprovements.
    • Collaborate with facilitymanagement team to develop budgets forecasts and expenditurereports related to mechanical maintenanceoperations.

Qualifications:

  • HVACqualification in the UK
  • Experience in a similarrole overseeing mechanical maintenance in a facility management orsimilar environment.
  • Proficient knowledge ofHVAC systems plumbing ventilation and other mechanical systemscommonly found in commercial or industrialfacilities.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilitiesand technical proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanicalissues.
  • Knowledge of health and safetyregulations and best practices relevant to mechanical engineeringand maintenance.
  • Full clean drivers licensewith the ability to drive an electric van provided by theemployer.
