Major Job Functions

Setting up of connectivity-type agreements in various applications and systems. 20% Registration of customer assets into various applications and services. 20% Support customers enquires including pricing for telematic kits, through to system familiarisation, agreement expiry, subscription, and renewal. 25% Directly manages renewals, and upgrades to higher subscription levels. 20% Subscription admin and system training.15%

Specific Skills

2 – 3 years experience in customer service, and customer support roles Excellent communication skills. Analytical skills Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Power BI) and experience working with OEM applications or telematic systems would be an advantage

Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of the technologies associated with mobile and fixed plant. Excellent knowledge of technologies associated with connectivity services and solutions. Extensive knowledge of the Caterpillar dealership network and Caterpillar support for technologies.

Accountability

Connecting assets owned and operated by customers. Providing customer support to improve utilization of products and services offered under the Connectivity Services brand. Customer and asset registration, agreement renewals, upgrades, etc. Provides support to sales and service operations regarding delivery of our technology services.

Education and Experience

Customer centric role in contact centres or customer facing. Previous experience in Sales and/or service position within a Technology environment Previous experience in a similar role within a similar industry environment (desirable)

Internal Relationships : Spans new and aftermarket sales teams to engage get connected and stay connected strategy. Works with service operations teams to optimise the use of new and emerging technologies.

External Relationships : Attending customer meetings and events to support technology engagement. Cambridge universities, marketing agencies, and Caterpillar

Working Environment

Monday – Friday (4 days in the office)

Hours - 9am - 5pm (37.5hrs a week)
