Service Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout the service process.
  • Accurately log service and repair requirements, ensuring that all necessary work is completed to a high standard.
  • Liaise between customers and the workshop team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Keep customers informed of vehicle progress, costs, and completion timelines, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency.
  • Process job cards, invoices, and payments efficiently, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Handle customer queries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Submit warranty claims and place orders for parts, ensuring that all necessary work is completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular stock takes, ensuring that all inventory is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of automotive processes and services is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for booking and invoicing is a must.
