About the role

Our highly rated H&F Adult Learning and Skills Service provides over 400 courses to more than 6,500 students locally and London wide. The courses offered are both nationally accredited qualifications and non-accredited courses.

 

ALSS is looking to recruit a dynamic full time Functional Skills English Lecturer to complete our successful Skills for Life department. This is a key role in supporting the Skills for Life curriculum area to deliver Functional Skills English across our main centres (Macbeth Centre and Uxbridge Road), as well as offsite and partner venues, as part of our community engagement programme offer.

The Functional Skills English Lecturer post is a key appointment to ensure residents have access to Functional Skills English classes, to improve their literacy skills to have better access to employment opportunities and social integration.

  • Teaching Qualification (level 3) and commitment to achieve a level 4 qualification.
