**Overview of the role**:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and student-centred **Academic Skills Lecturer** to provide a range of support activities in-person on campus and digitally via MS Teams.

**Main responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Planning and delivering an embedded curriculum of Academic Skills Support in collaboration with the different schools and departments across the college.
- Planning and delivering impactful bespoke Academic Skills guest lectures across Regent’s portfolio, as per lecturer’s requests.
- Planning and delivering high-quality Academic Skills workshops, webinars and presentations to students and staff (in-person and digitally).
- Providing 1-1 guidance to support students in their assignments and keeping track of students’ engagement and progress.
- Supporting the Programme Leader to create resources and support materials.
- Liaising with academics and other members of staff, where necessary, to ensure students receive appropriate on-going academic skills support.
- Collaborating with other teams at Regent (e.g. Wellbeing, Inclusion, other schools) to support activities that enhance students’ experience, development, and success.
- Assessing the effectiveness of academic skills support against students’ needs and progress.
- Carrying out any other responsibilities as reasonably required by senior management (e.g. accurate attendance records, progress reports, monitoring reports, schemes of work, etc.).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
