We're recruiting for a **Lecturer - Digital Skills** to join our Adult Skills team on a full time, permanent basis.

The salary scale for this role is £24,872 - £43,440 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
- **An additional market-rate supplement of up to £10k may be available for this role, depending upon an individual's skills and experience.**

**The Role;**

The **Lecturer - Digital Skills** will be responsible for delivering qualifications designed to equip learners with essential digital skills for life, work, and further study, in alignment with national standards.

At Entry Level 3, the focus will be on developing digital skills for everyday life and introducing learners to basic digital skills required for the workplace.

At Level 1, the emphasis will primarily be on preparing learners with digital skills necessary for work, while also enhancing their digital proficiency for personal use.

You'll provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision.

**Key responsbilities of our Lecturer - Digital Skills;**
- Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work
- Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
- Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
- Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
- Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsbilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression
- Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
- Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
- Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
